Living room with tufted armchairs, mirrored panels, and a beaded pendant light, Zabeel Saray Resort Villa, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai

The project was already under way when I was brought in, and the client did not like what had been chosen: I had to overturn the concept and start again. His request was gold and silver — both, everywhere. I used the two metals as accents rather than as main finishes, and kept the intervention as light as it could be.

Visionnaire, Fendi Casa, Rubelli and Elitis. The metals sit in the accessories, where they read as detail and not as surface.
