Marianna Piccolo

I take a limited number of projects at a time, for private clients between Dubai and Europe: houses, mostly, and occasionally a resort, an office, a boutique.

I was born in Puglia and trained at the Politecnico di Milano and with the architect Marco Piva, then moved to Dubai in 2009. The studio has been mine since 2014. On the Oberoi Resort in Ajman I worked alongside Piero Lissoni; the furniture and the joinery in my projects are made with my father, Domenico Piccolo, a woodworker. Photography and fashion taught me composition and colour.

CID magazine has twice named me among the region’s leading designers; my One at Palm apartment was shortlisted for Dubai’s Top 50 Best Homes. In 2024 I launched a furniture collection, drawn from the colours and the ceramics of Puglia.
