Entrance hall opening onto the living room, Villa Canal Cove, Palm Jumeirah

A very plain villa with small bedrooms and a large terrace nobody had ever used. I converted the terrace into a cinema room and turned one balcony into her walk-in wardrobe: two walk-ins, the cinema room and the ensuite rooms all ended up on the first floor, reached through a single entrance. Closing what was unused was what gave the house the rooms it was missing.
