An enormous living room with two directions to serve: the client wanted an L-shaped sofa facing the television and, behind it, a second sofa facing the dining area and the sea. We ended with a vis-à-vis sofa I did not approve — I thought it weighed the room down — but he liked it, and years later I still think the room would have breathed better without it. The apartment was dark, so the whole lighting scheme was replaced.

Ever since the renovation was done by Marianna, we have always received compliments on the design of our apartment from our guests and we are always proud of it. We value Marianna's hands-on assistance and the high quality of Italian products she has provided us. Overall, we got the home feeling for me and my family as a final result that we always wanted.

Artemide and Flos throughout, with Giopato & Coombes wall lights in the bedrooms. The client asked for the street-facing bedroom windows to be soundproofed: on the Palm the noise at night is the thing you notice.
